Day 01: Kathmandu arrival

Welcome to Kathmandu—the beating heart of Nepal, where the scent of incense hangs in the air and prayer flags flutter above ancient rooftops. The moment you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our warm-hearted representative will be waiting to receive you with a placard bearing your name. From there, a private vehicle will take you through the colorful streets to your hotel.

Once checked in, take your time to unwind and settle into the rhythm of this storied capital. Depending on your energy levels, you might enjoy a short stroll through nearby alleys filled with art shops, bakeries, and temples.

Day 02: Trek briefing + KTM sightseeing

Day 03: Flight to Pokhara

After an early breakfast, we escort you to the domestic terminal for your flight to Pokhara. The 25-minute flight, on a clear day, offers astonishing aerial views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, including the unmistakable silhouette of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your lakeside hotel near the calm shores of Phewa Lake. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace—perhaps take a lakeside walk or sip coffee while gazing at the tranquil water.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul + trek to Tikhedhunga (1,520m/ 4,987ft)

Your adventure into the Annapurna foothills begins today. After breakfast, we drive for about 1.5 hours to Nayapul, the starting point of our trek. At Birethanti, we check in through the ACAP permit post, and the journey on foot begins.

The trail leads you through quiet farming villages and terraced rice fields, accompanied by the gentle rush of nearby rivers. On a clear day, the majestic Machhapuchhre stands proudly in the distance. After about three hours of gradual walking, you arrive at Tikhedhunga, a peaceful village perched above the valley.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2,860m/ 9,383ft)

After a warm breakfast, brace yourself for one of the more challenging climbs of the trek—a steep ascent of over 3,000 stone steps to the village of Ulleri. Though demanding, the climb rewards you with stunning views of Annapurna South peeking through the trees.

After resting in Ulleri with a cup of tea, the path continues gently upward through ancient rhododendron and bamboo forests. We stop for lunch at Nangge Thanti before continuing the final stretch to Ghorepani. Set amidst blooming hillsides and backed by the snow-capped peaks, this charming village offers a cool alpine breeze and a peaceful evening.

Day 06: Poon Hill (3,210m/10,532ft) sunrise view + trek to Tadhapani (2,630m)

We start early to climb up to Poon Hill beneath the soft beam of headlamps and expect the first rays of dawn to break over the mountains. With sunrise, the ridges of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Nilgiri, Hiun Chuli, and Machhapuchhre radiate golden heat in an unforgettable Himalayan landscape.

After soaking up the scenery and taking your dose of photos, we descend to Ghorepani for a hot breakfast. The trail leads us up again to Thapla Danda, a ridge with spectacular views. From there, we slowly descend through woods that are filled with birdsong and the far-off bellow of langurs. Lunch at Banthanti precedes a gentle walk to Tadapani, where we stay overnight.

Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m)

On this day, the walk is short but rewarding. We descend gradually through misty forests of rhododendron and oak, crossing small streams and enjoying peeks of the peaks above. Arriving in Ghandruk by midday, you'll have plenty of time to explore this picturesque Gurung village. With its traditional stone houses, cobbled lanes, and cultural museum, Ghandruk offers a deep insight into local life and traditions. Enjoy lunch with a view and perhaps spend the afternoon chatting with locals or simply soaking in the serenity.

Day 08: Drive back to Pokhara
